Hacienda Horses in Malaga, Spain

Cortijo Uribe lies there in the landscape like a white fortress in the olive groves on the countryside in the region of Malaga. Inside the hacienda is a warmhearted sanctuary with lovely horses. It is a place to feel at home. Many of the visitors are returning guests. Twice I have visited the hacienda. The first time in October. The temperature was warm. All our meals was served outside in the courtyard. We were enjoying the sun and the swimming pool. In the evening it was good to chill out with a drink enjoying good company. The second time I was there in February, participating in a photo workshop. It was spring. The almond trees were blooming. It was sunny with fresh, cool air. In the evening we were sitting in the dining room by the fireplace. No bother it was cold outside after sunset, when we were having a good time together inside.Every day we had one riding lesson and one hack outside. Once during the week we were out hacking on a lovely 5 hours picnic ride. We also had a trip to the charming town of Antequera.

The hacienda is a place for social friendly encounters with people from all over that love horses.
